Hi Friend! I’m Amber —a licensed occupational therapist and kettlebell coach with a heart for serving older adults and a mission to help other OTs thrive beyond the traditional clinical path.

I’ve spent the majority of my OT career working in skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and home health, supporting older adults through life’s transitions—restoring independence, navigating chronic conditions, and helping them live with dignity and purpose. I love working with the geriatric population because it reminds me daily how powerful and meaningful movement can be at any age. Growing up with my great grandparents until their passing in their mid 90s was my biggest drive to pursue OT in geriatrics.

But along the way, I started to feel boxed in by the limits of traditional healthcare. I wanted more flexibility, more creativity, and more alignment between my personal passion for strength training and my professional identity as an OT. That’s when I discovered the world of kettlebell training and began integrating fitness into how I support others—inside and outside the clinic.

Now, I blend my experience in geriatric care and functional fitness to help other occupational therapists do the same. Whether you’re dreaming of starting your own practice, adding strength training to your skillset, or simply feeling burned out from the grind, I’m here to support you.

Through Thrive OT, I mentor therapists who are ready to break the mold—reclaim their passion, expand their impact, and build careers that are not just sustainable, but energizing.

You’re not stuck. You’re just ready for something more. And I’m here to help you build it.

Core Values 💜

  • Empowerment Over Limitation
I believe occupational therapy is about more than recovery—it’s about helping people realize what’s still possible, no matter their age or diagnosis.

  • Movement is Medicine
Strength, mobility, and confidence in your body are key to a high quality of life—whether you’re 28 or 88.

  • Integrity First, Always
Whether I’m working with a patient, mentoring an OT, or coaching a class, I lead with honesty, transparency, and a heart for service.

  • Creativity in Care
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. I believe great therapy and great coaching come from thinking outside the box.

  • OTs Deserve to Thrive Too
You don’t have to choose between being a great clinician and building a life you love. You can have both—and I’m here to help you get there.
